CTSLab 906

The accuracy of the power measurement is set by the quality and reliability of the tester. The IEC Standard IEC 60904-9 classifies sun simulators / cell testers in three classes A (the best), B and C depending on three parameters:

IEC 60904-9Class ACTSLab 906
Non-uniformity of irradiance≤ 2 %≤ 1.0 %
Pulse instability (long term)≤ 2 %≤ 1.0 %
Spectral irradiance distribution≤ ± 25 %≤ ± 25 %

This means that the CTSLab 906 could be rated class AA as regards light uniformity and pulse stability and class A as regards spectral match. This outstanding quality is the result of Pasan’s more than 25 years of experience and technical expertise in the field of PV measurements.

The CTSLab 906 meets the highest requirements of R&D-labs The Xenon-flash based equipment is fitted for spectral response and temperature dependent measurements of all relevant IV-parameters. Cells up to 22 x 22 cm (8”) with two or three busbars can be measured. Also, part of the equipment is Pasan’s unique long-lasting and robust contact system, which casts only a minor shadow thus reducing any interference with the light source.
