Located in Neuchâtel / Switzerland, in the midst of a lovely region renowned for watchmaking industry, Pasan SA, a member of Meyer Burger Group, develops and produces under the Pasan-brand highly advanced systems for the measurement of photovoltaic cells and modules.

The dynamic company with more than 30 employees has already installed more than 300 cell testing and module testing equipments worldwide. The manufacturing program consists of Sun Simulators, Cell Testers, Cell Sorters and Shuntometers.

Champion of accuracy and light uniformity

All Pasan equipments are based on xenon single-flash technology, giving closest approach to spectral irradiance of sun, with negligible heating of module or cell to be tested. Pasan systems are developped with high-accuracy in mind.

The most important parameter is light uniformity on device under test. Pasan Cell Testers and Sun Simulators largely exceeds requirements of most demanding IEC standards. Pasan SA proposes various softwares to meet different requirements. For laboratory, the company has developped fully parametrable programs, while for production features as automatic sorting, statistical analysis, log files and label printing are available.

Furthermore Pasan SA represents in Europe the continnous-light Sun Simulators of Photo Emission Tech. (PET), Newbury Park/CA.
